Cancellation Policy: -Chartiers Township Parks & Recreation is happy to transfer your ticket to another person of your choosing at no cost.-If you choose to cancel and would like Chartiers Township to find a replacement for your seat, a full refund will be issued only if a paid replacement is secured. Please note: if the requested cancellation occurs within 10 days of the trip, a 10% last-minute replacement fee will be deducted from your refund, if a paid repalcement is found, to cover the additional staff time and coordination required.Acknowledgment: By registering and submitting your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms above. You release Chartiers Township and its affiliates from any liability related to this trip.
Bus Trip Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I register for a trip? A: You can register online, in person with Angela O'Connor (by appointment), or by phone at 724-485-2126. Q: Can I make a deposit instead of paying in full? A: Yes. All trips require a $50 deposit to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the trip. Q: Where does the bus leave from? A: All trips depart from the Chartiers Township Community Center, 2013 Community Center Drive, Houston, PA 15342. Q: Do I have to be a Chartiers Township resident to attend? A: No. Our trips are open to the public. Q: What type of bus do you use? A: All trips travel on a 54-passenger motorcoach equipped with a restroom. Q: Are seats assigned? A: No. Seating is first come, first served and the bus is loaded in order of arrival. If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend arriving early to secure a seat near the front and planning accordingly with Dramamine, Sea-Band wristbands, or similar products. Q: Can I save seats for friends? A: No. There is no seat saving. Friends must arrive early to choose their own seats. Q: Can I bring a walker if needed? A: Yes. The driver can store it under the bus. Please note that many of our trips involve a significant amount of walking. Q: Is driver gratuity included in the trip cost? A: No. Gratuity is not included and may be given at your discretion. Q: How early should I arrive before departure? A: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure. Boarding is done in order of arrival.
