It’s that time of year again! We’re opening up the Chartiers Township Community Center to local Chartiers-based organizations for the opportunity to receive a complimentary community center rental.
This rental can be used on any weekend day—or weekday, if preferred—between November 2026 and April 2027. The rental fee for the room will be waived; however, any optional add-ons such as alcohol service, kitchen use, or additional equipment will still apply.
As you may know, Chartiers Township offers a way for local nonprofit community groups to host events at the Chartiers Township Community Center at little or no cost. Through our Complimentary Use Policy, the Township provides up to four (4) free weekend day or evening rentals of the facility each year during the non-peak season (November–April), as well as two (2) rentals for the Chartiers-Houston School District.
These 4 complimentary uses are awarded through an application process for eligible Chartiers Township–based nonprofit or school booster organizations. Even if not selected, groups still benefit from our reduced nonprofit rental rates throughout the year.

-Groups will be notified in early November if they have been selected or not
-Selected groups must complete a rental contract online and submit a $500 refundable security deposit to confirm their date.
Please note: If your group plans to serve or bring alcohol, our constable must be hired through the Township’s required contact. The constable’s fee is paid directly by your organization.
We encourage all eligible Chartiers Township community groups to take advantage of this opportunity to host an event, fundraiser, or community gathering at our community center.
